Artist Talk: Saturday, February 22 at 2pm

Using powerful symbols such as flight, bullets, arrows, African masks and military-style medals, Bill Harris aims to depict freedom and social struggle in relation to the community and history. By combining his printmaking skills with wood turning techniques, Harris creates masterful wall-mounted sculptures that contrast exacting technical precision with vibrant color. Through its powerful, clear-eyed social commentary and consummate craftsmanship, Bill Harris’ exhibition engages, challenges, offers space for interpretation and might even teach you something. We invite you to join us for a presentation and discussion with the artist about his work.
