On Tuesday, November 17, artists from Brooklyn, NY, along with artists from other parts of New York City, came together to demonstrate against the Brooklyn Real Estate Summit being held at the Brooklyn Museum. The Museum’s current exhibition Crossing Brooklyn: Art from Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, and Beyond features socially engaged works from across the borough of Brooklyn. The gentrification of Brooklyn and its impact on the arts and current residents remained the focus of the demonstration. To read more, click here.
