CREATE Arts Center Announces Jeremy Flick as New Executive Director

CREATE Arts Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Flick as its new Executive Director. His first day in the office was Monday, January 2.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jeremy as CREATE Arts Center’s new Executive Director and are excited to embark on this new chapter for our organization. Jeremy’s experience and passion will be a tremendous asset to our team, and I’m confident that he will lead CREATE to do great things,” said Alana Coyle, President, CREATE Arts Center.

Jeremy brings a broad experience to CREATE as an arts administrator, art educator and artist, including nearly 10 years as an adjunct faculty at Montgomery College, GWU and the University of Maryland. Most recently Jeremy was the Deputy Director for Washington Project for the Arts, and previously served as the WPA Membership Director.

“I am honored to have this opportunity to serve the CREATE community in support of the organization’s mission in fostering creativity through its innovative, necessary and impactful programs. I look forward to working closely with CREATE’s dedicated staff, art teachers, art therapists and the leadership team to enhance CREATE’s visibility and to ensure CREATE remains an open, inclusive, and safe space that is adaptable to grow as the needs of our community change,” said Jeremy Flick.
