Pyramid Atlantic Art Center (PAAC) Board of Directors announces Kate Taylor Davis has been named our new executive director. Kate will be just the third executive director in the institution’s 35-year history and she will begin on January 17, 2017.

Ms. Davis has been serving as director of the Anacostia Arts Center (AAC) as well as the vice president of ARCH Development Corporation. ARCH is responsible for a number of significant Anacostia neighborhood revitalization projects including the AAC and Honfleur Gallery.

Kate has a combined 10 years of leadership roles in marketing communications for Imagination Stage and Olney Theatre Center. Her experience with all forms of media engagement, ticket holder tracking and web systems, theatre subscriptions and seasons will be of great use to PAAC’s operations.

In addition to her professional achievements, Kate co-founded Astro Pop Events, which produces high-impact, event-style theater productions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in arts management from American University.

“I am grateful to the leadership of Pyramid Atlantic for the opportunity to work for such a respected and loved organization.
