The 39th Street Gallery presents A.I.R. Paul Shortt’s artist talk. Paul has been the A.I.R. for the last 4 months. Come hear what he’s been working on.

Paul will talk about a couple of ongoing projects including “Reserved For Loitering” part of an ongoing project called “How To Loiter,” which seeks to re-imagine loitering by creating sites for loitering and rethinking it through a Public Service Announcement style campaign.

Paul Shortt is a visual artist, writer, educator and arts administrator. He received his MFA in New Media Art from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his BFA in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. He is currently the Registry Coordinator and Program Assistant at Maryland Art Place and lives in Washington DC.

This event is free and open to the public.

39th Street Gallery is located at 3901 Rhode Island Ave., Brentwood, MD.
