In the next installment of Addison/Ripley’s ongoing series of artist conversations, please join us on Saturday, November 19 from 11 to 1 for coffee, bagels and a guided discussion featuring the artist in the current exhibition, Mira Hecht. Her exhibition, in snow, blossom, includes selections from the last two years of Hecht’s work,  featuring two distinctly different styles on display.  With Director and Curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center, Jack Rasmussen and Christopher Addison, the artist will participate in an open discussion about her work, her studio practice and some of her inspirations.  After the discussion, there will be time for questions about the work from our audience. And, for the first time, previous to the discussion, we are pleased to host a short poetry reading by Peggy Heller and Stephen Rosen.

Dr. Peggy Heller is a clinical poetry therapist and social worker in private practice in MD.
Stephen Rosen is a poetry enthusiast and works as a psychotherapist in private practice in DC.
