The Brentwood Arts Exchange, the Gateway Community Development Corporation, and the Washington Project for the Arts partner to bring you this participatory lecture on cataloging artwork and planning for an artist’s estate, presented by Joan Jeffri of the Research Center for Arts and Culture and John Paradiso of the Gateway Arts Center.

Learn how standard practices in cataloging and estate planning can supplement the well-being and career of the artist, and see how both can strengthen the vibrancy of the artist’s legacy. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the different techniques and software used for inventorying work.

Paradiso and Jeffri bring their first-hand experiences to the discussion that will leave attendees with clear direction on how to implement strategies in planning and creating for the future.

The workshop is free, but an RSVP is mandatory. To attend, send your RSVP to WPA Membership Manager Christopher Cunetto at  [email protected] or call 202-234-7103 x 2.
