Artist talk: Thursday, August 21 from 6pm to 8pm
Cheryl Edwards will be giving an artist talk about her research on Cuban culture and the development of a new series of artwork inspired by her travel to Havana, Cuba.
Cheryl will return to Cuba as part of a group of African American Artists traveling to the Caribbean island for ten days. The trip is in conjunction with the African American Artists and Abstraction Exhibition at the National Fine Arts Museum, Havana, Cuba and Professional Research Program on Cuban Culture.
