Meeting: Wednesday March 28 from 6:30-8:30pm

The District Government is exploring the feasibility of reusing the structural elements of the outmoded downstream 11th street bridge and building a new deck in order to create a hub of family recreation.  the potential amenity could link the city over the Anacostia River in a unique and dramatic way and connect parks, trails and recreation assets up and down both sides of the river.

One of the proposals includes the creation of an “Arts Bridge” that will showcase a series of public art.

The public is invited to attend an informational meeting and to share its vision with the DC Office of Planning on Wednesday March 28 from 6:30-8:30pm.

The meeting will be held at 1100 fourth ST SW, Second Floor Room E200.
