This panel discussion will focus on the relationship between collectors and artists, particularly on the ways in which the practices of collectors impact the careers and recognition of artists. Panelists will weigh in on the many connections existing between artists and art collectors.

  • David C. Driskell – Artist, Art Historian, Art Collector, Curator, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Art, University of Maryland
