Join the Greater Reston Arts Center for a Curator’s Talk with Holly Koons McCullough, guest curator of Synthetic Transformations and current executive director of the Arlington Arts Center. The exhibition, by internationally exhibited, multi-media artist, and TED Talk fellow, Shih Chieh Huang, is on view at the Greater Reston Arts Center until November 19. The installation features interactive elements created from a variety of materials including LED lights, motion sensors, computer parts, screens, and mundane objects such as plastic bags and Tupperware. With these humble components, the artist creates magical, immersive environments, featuring sculptures that respond to the viewer’s presence with movement, sound, and illumination. Free and open to the public.

The Greater Reston Arts Center is located at 12001 Market St., Suite 103, Reston, VA. For more information contact [email protected] or (703) 471-9242 or visit www.restonarts.org.
