Art Talk with David C. Driskell
Artist and noted art historian, curator, and philanthropist Dr. David Driskell talks about the Washington Color School with a focus on Sam Gilliam, Alma Thomas, and other local proponents of the movement. Driskell is considered the foremost authority on art of the Black diaspora. He is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Art at the University of Maryland, College Park, which houses the David C. Driskell Center for the Study of the Visual Arts and Culture of African Americans and the African Diaspora. Twitter: #ArtistTalk
