Exhibition Dates are June 26-September 28, 2014. There will be an opening Reception with Juror on Thursday, June 26 from 6pm to 8pm.
Open to Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Maryland artists. Original hanging work created in any medium within the past 3 years will be considered.
$40 for up to 5 pieces/$10 for each additional piece. Payment by PayPal.
Artwork can be in any medium and must be delivered ready to be hung on walls with the Hill Center cable-and-hook system. Details will be provided to artists selected to participate. No size restrictions apply, as 14’ ceilings in some of the gallery space accommodate large pieces. All artwork must be available for sale.
Three cash prizes and 5 Honorable Mention Awards will be made. First place $1,000, Second Place $750, Third Place $500.

The Exhibition will be juried by Philip Kennicott, Art and Architecture Critic, The Washington Post. Artists will be notified of Juror’s decision on/about May 15, 2014.
All work must be delivered to Hill Center on Sunday, June 22, between noon and 4 p.m. Work must be labeled on the front of piece with name of artist and title of piece. Work is to be removed on Monday, September 29, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
All artwork in the exhibition will be available for sale. Selected artists will be asked to sign the Hill Center Galleries Consignment Agreement. Hill Center Galleries shall sell artwork at sales price submitted in entry, plus applicable DC sales tax, and remit proceeds to the artist, retaining a 30% sales commission. No price changes will be allowed.
Hill Center Galleries shall be responsible for the safekeeping of all Artworks while they are in its custody, as detailed in the Consignment Agreement.
