Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 1, 2015 by 11:59 p.m. EST. Online entry only.

Artists are invited to submit to Photo ‘15, a national juried fine art photography exhibit at Multiple Exposures Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA.  All artists 18 years of age or older who work in traditional, digital, or alternative photographic processes are eligible.

Entry Fee:  $35.00 for up to three (3) images

Timeline:

  • Email notification of jury results: August 1, 2015
  • Framed work delivered to gallery: October 14- 17, 2015
  • Exhibit dates: October 20 – November 29, 2015
  • Artist reception & award presentation: November 1, 2015

Juror: Sarah Greenough, senior curator and head of the department of photographs at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Greenough has organized and curated numerous exhibitions for the Gallery over the past two decades, including shows featuring the work of Alfred Stieglitz, Irving Penn, André Kertész, Robert Frank, Allen Ginsberg, and Harry Callahan. The author of many publications on photographers ranging from Walker Evans to Georgia O’Keefe, Greenough’s exhibitions and publications have won many awards, including the International Center of Photography Publications Award, the George Wittenborn Memorial Book Award, the Outstanding Museum Catalogue of the Year from the Association of Art Museum Curators, and the International Center for Photography’s Infinity Award for Publications. Submission Instructions: Entries must be completed online here.  Artists may submit up to three images, and are encouraged to include an artist bio of 200 words or less. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. There is no theme.
