Richard Ormond at Tuesday’s talk. This Tuesday, we had another packed house for the latest in our Visiting Artist Lecture Series! Richard Ormond was in town for his talk on John Singer Sargent. The subject: Sargent’s plein air excursions in the summers of 1900 to 1914, when he painted a series of unorthodox watercolors.
