Passport Destination: Cape Town is a multimedia exhibition that will transport young creatives to the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa without having to leave Washington, D.C. Through the use of interactive technology, attendees will have the opportunity to experience Cape Town’s culture, art and design, while also gaining insight into how these elements work together to bring to life this vibrant and exciting modern African society.

The digital interactive media used in Passport Destination: Cape Town (augmented reality, photography and a documentary) will engage viewers by creating a learning atmosphere different from the traditional classroom, while also promoting social inclusion, tolerance and camaraderie between international cultures. The exhibition will show Cape Town as a melting pot, incubator and hub for creativity, arts, innovation, culture and design. It will promote cultural tourism, inspire attendees to use creative channels including, photography, filmmaking and design to create a better world around them.

Biography
NAACP Award winning videographer, entrepreneur and exhibition curator, Matthew Frazier, (also known as MkAmericana), has worked for a variety of organizations including ABC News, The United States House of Representatives, The Dallas Cowboys and The Four Seasons Hotel. Frazier has also been sponsored by various camera companies to digitally document the role creativity plays in European and African societies. Through these exhibitions, Frazier has been able to successfully encourage and provoke dialogue around the intersection of art and culture, while creating unique learning experiences for participants. As a result, this will give participants an experience they will never forget.
