Event: Wednesday, March 26 from 7pm to 9pm

Taking the exhibition Sensations as the stimulus for actions, Intrigue will be participatory & experiential, synthesizing romance, discussion, and performance.

DC-based artist and curator Eames Armstrong is the director of Aether Art Projects and the editor of Peri0d art journal. Her work deals with systems of revealing, both physically and conceptually, through layers and disclosures. She wants to know where intimacy fits in performance, and whether it can be retained in documentation.

Interdisciplinary artist Renée Regan performs regularly around DC, through organizations and independently as public interventions. Though her background is in photography, she has developed a vocabulary of personal actions, creating charged and affecting performances.

Gallery Hours:

Mission: Catalyst Project’s mission is to present the DC arts community to the world beyond the DMV. By presenting arts programming with a focus on exchange, we hope to cross-pollinate with arts communities outside of the DC metro area. It is our goal to make contemporary art accessible through educational programs such as panel discussions, artist workshops, and contemporary art exhibitions.
