Artistry Portrayed: Photographs of DTSBDC’s “Margin” by Matailong Du, MA ’17
Photographs by Corcoran School of the Arts and Design student Matailong Du, (MA New Media Photojournalism ’17), artfully document the production of Margin, a dance performed by the Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in October 2016, in which six portraits from the Smithsonian Institution’s Outwin 2016 American Portraiture Today exhibition were transformed into dance.

Funding for both exhibitions is provided by the Francine Zorn Trachtenberg Photography Fund and the Friends of the Brady Art Gallery. Light refreshments will be served.

Luther W. Brady Art Gallery is located at 805 21st St. NW, Second Floor.
