Reception: Sunday, November 1 from 2pm to 4pm

Thirty-four fine art photographs selected for PHOTO ’15 by Sarah Greenough, Senior Curator and Head of the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, will be on exhibit at Multiple Exposures Gallery from October 20 – November 29, 2015.

As the juror of PHOTO ’15, Ms. Greenough has put together a fascinating show of diverse works from 31 fine art photographers from across the United States. The images span the human experience, capturing scenes both spare and complex. Marc Newton’s beautifully ominous photograph in Garden City, GA, Wendy Simmons’ unexpectedly colorful peek into North Korea and Francisco Gonzalez’s exploration of the expatriate experience in the United States are just a few of the images that come together to make the exhibit a visually compelling whole.

Ms. Greenough will deliver a juror’s talk during the Exhibition Reception on Sunday, November 1st, from 2pm-4pm, at Multiple Exposures Gallery in Alexandria, VA.  Two awards — Best in Show and Gallery Choice — will be presented at the reception.
