Join Project Create as we celebrate community and creativity at our Annual Student Showcase on Saturday May 30th, 2015 from 11am – 4pm. This street art festival will include a multimedia exhibit featuring local student artwork, interactive art stations, live performances, and food. The event will feature visual art, music, dance and theater from over 200 neighborhood youth. Bring your family and friends for a fun and creative summertime kick off. Project Create puts the ART in party.

Exhibit Theme: Colors For Life
This year’s exhibit theme, Colors For Life, is inspired by the bold colors, patterns and lines seen in the student artwork from the 2014-2015 year. The students chose color to express emotion, reflect personality, and tell a story. The boldness and vibrancy speak not only to their creativity and skill, but also their confidence and willingness to share a piece of themselves.

The artworks, with ideas ranging from fantastic creations to expressive memories, and mediums ranging from oversized paintings to hand written recipes, create a mosaic of experiences that represent the building blocks of their lives.
