Opening: Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 from 10am to 5pm
Can a room be a musical instrument? What new sounds can materials such as wood, metal, wire and skin produce when abstracted into ‘data’? This interactive installation is meant to challenge visitors’ perceptions of the relationships between physical space, gesture and sound. It also explores the creative potential of code, both to transform one’s perceived experience, and as a musical material in its own right.
