Spring and Summer Third Thursdays on the Arts Walk
Every Third Thursday, from April 21, 6-9pm
Monroe Street Market continues its series of monthly events on April 21 with Third Thursdays on the Arts Walk, where attendees can stroll along the Arts Walk, listen to music, watch live performances from Dance Place, visit artist studio spaces and support local artists. The Arts Walk features 27 studio spaces with artists who work in various mediums. A beer garden, located outside Brookland Pint, will be available on the Third Thursdays in May through October.

Arts on 8th Music Performances
Every Thursday, from May 5 to September 29, 6:30pm-8pm
Live music performances will be held on the Arts Walk plaza each week, powered by Dance Place. Each evening will feature a new group – a mixture of neighborhood favorites, such as Sahel, and new talent. In the event of rain, music will be moved into the Artist Lounge on the Arts Walk. For more information, visit www.danceplace.org/performances

Arts on 8th Interactive Dance Performances
Every Friday, from May 6 to September 30, 6:30pm-7:30pm
Partners at Dance Place will present live interactive dance performances as part of the Free Art on 8th Events. Friday night programming will take place at O’Connell Plaza located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Monroe Street or in front of Busboys and Poets. Rain location will be inside Busboys and Poets. Kicking off May 5, Aspen Grove will perform their Americana style music.

Arts Walk at Monroe Street Market is located at 716 Monroe St NE just above the Brookland Metro station.
