A life-long member of the Capitol Hill art community, Geoff Ault will assume the role of curator at Evolve Urban Art's gallery.

Evolve Property Management, LLC  announces the addition of Geoff Ault to its Urban Arts Project staff.  Mr. Ault will assume curatorial and marketing responsibilities for the Project’s 2011-2012 exhibition schedule beginning October, 2011.  Mr. Ault is the former Chairman of the Capitol Hill Art League Steering Committee and long time resident of Capitol Hill.

“The Urban Arts Project has been a driving force for emerging and under-represented artists living and working in the nation’s capitol.  I am excited to be a part of this effort to keep the arts a vital part of our community. The H Street Corridor has rapidly become a go-to destination in Washington and Evolve has played a major role in making this happen.”   Mr. Ault will continue to promote the cultural and artistic diversity that is too often overlooked here in Washington.   “Despite the current state of the nation’s economy, fine art is an affordable investment and Washington provides a place for artists, collectors and the public to connect.”   He hopes to enhance that connection and to open a dialogue within the arts community and the public.

The Evolve Urban Arts Project enriches the lives of residents, neighbors in the H Street Community, and Washington DC at large by providing free exhibition space to artists based in the metropolitan area. For further information, please visit our website at www.evolvedc.com.
