With Linn Meyers and Kate Nicholson
On the occasion of Meyers’ show, The Adjacent Possible, collector Kate Nicholson and the artist Linn Meyers will have a casual conversation about the extraordinary elasticity of time as it relates to Meyers’ work. Nicholson will discuss her own experiences as a viewer in a suspended present, while Meyers will discuss the creation of that present and her work in relation to science, meditation and scale.
Light refreshments will be served.
Linn Meyers lives and works in Washington DC. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the US, Europe and Japan and is included in numerous public and private collections, including The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, The National Museum of Women in the Arts and The Smithsonian American Art Museum. She is the recipient of numerous grants, awards, fellowships and artist residencies.
