Details  about the photo-shoot and Veterans day event
As artists and activists Metabolic Studios believes in the power of creativity to incite transformation. The organizers have constructed a camera that has traversed the USA to build photos of American communities during a time of radical need.

Join in raising the flag for Veterans Day and a group portrait taken by the Liminal Camera, the world’s largest Instamatic camera. Visit: liminal.metabolicstudio.org

Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic and listen to a rendition of the Yes We Can Can, Preserving a Home for Veterans, performed by special guests from the VA of West Los Angeles.

The event takes place on The National Mall at Third Street, between Madison & Jefferson Avenues.

Following the photoshoot on Saturday & Sunday November 12 and November 13, the photograph will be on view along with a video screening and a selection of images from the Liminal Camera Tour, at the Hirshhorn Museum.  The Hirshhorn Museum is located at Independence Avenue at Seventh Street, SW.
