 WPA – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Join WPA for the opening of Diamond Landscape the latest installment in the Lobby Project series. Artist Erin Elizabeth Curtis’s inspiration of antique Soumak rugs is reflected in the shape, pattern, and color of her work. For more information, click here.

Friday, February 6

Carroll Square Gallery – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Linear Function features the works of Alex Mayer, Nick Primo, and Douglas Witmer. Each use line, volume, and color to create works that draw in the viewer. For more information about the opening, click here.

Touchstone Gallery – 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Unspoken Messages: the Art of Janathel Shaw explores race and identity not only through her large drawing but also through sculpture. This exhibit challenges viewers to look at how we as society view Black men and brings attention to the national discussion about race. For details, click here.

Painting and Sculpture by Harmon Biddle focuses on nature and they many ways to express it through art. Biddle’s work spans from watercolor paintings to glass sculptures. For more information, click here.

ReCreative Spaces – 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Join local artists Rose Jaffe and Graham Patrick for their show Duologue: Patterns, Prints. Portraits. Viewers will see the collaborative works of these two artists as they venture into combining passions and media. For more details, click here.

Brentwood Arts Exchange – 1 p.m.

Brentwood Arts Exchange presents the All-Screened Video Fest. This one day festival screening shows short films and videos by regional producers. The event ends when all of the videos are finished. For details about the screening, click here.

Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery – 3:30 p.m.

The featured artists of Bought and Sold: Voices of Human Trafficking will be discussing the importance of this exhibit to continue the conversation about the fight against human trafficking. For more information about the artist talk, click here.
