artdc Gallery – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Join artdc for #WeTweetArt V3.0 the third version of their social media connected show. Viewers are welcome to visit the gallery or go online to connect with artists. The DC area artists involved in this show are working to connect with the whole world via social media so spread the word. For more information, click here.

Transformer at the Katzen Arts Center – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Locally Sourced highlights over 200 works in a variety of media from six regionally focused Community Supported Art programs. The programs featured in this exhibit are Artist Curated Projects (Los Angeles, CA), Brooklyn Community Supported Art + Design (Brooklyn, NY), Cannonball (Miami, FL), Pelican Bomb (New Orleans), Threewalls (Chicago), and Transformer (DC). Arlington Arts Center – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The newly curated shows Wrapped & Wrought, Choice Encounters, Homeward (BOUND), and No Place, No You or Me open this Saturday at the Arlington Arts Center. Along with the new shows, resident artist Dawn Whitmore will open her studio to present her solo exhibition GUN LOVE. During the receptions, AAC’s other resident artists will open their studios to visitors as well. For more information about the events, click here.

American University at the Katzen Arts Center 

Join the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center for the openings of Identidad, Locally Sourced, Gods of War!, Photoworks: Presence of Place, and Building Without Shadows. The winter exhibits run through March 15. For more information about the exhibits, click here.
