Long View Gallery – 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 

Zachary Oxman’s work in Optic Symphony celebrates the identity of human perceptions. Viewers are challenged to participate in the work and explore the complexities within the pieces and themselves. For more information, click here.

Friday, June 12

Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Washington Sculptors Group and Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery present the opening of Sanctuary. The exhibition features indoor and outdoor installations. Views are challenges to reconsider what makes a space sacred. For details, click here.

Montpelier Arts Center– 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Capitol Hill Arts Workshop – 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

CHAW’s annual Spring Performance Festival and Day of Art includes a craft sale, writing workshops, dancing, drawing demonstrations, a youth art showcase and an adult student show opening. For the full schedule, click here.
