The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) is now registering students ages four and up for a new eight-week session of arts classes beginning October 15, 2012. CHAW’s innovative arts classes provide students with a high-quality arts education in a unique, multidisciplinary environment. Van pick-up is available from local schools to CHAW. Tuition assistance and payment plans are also available.
Classes for Early Childhood students (ages 4-6) include:
- “Wool, Yarn and Fabric”
- “Musical Stepping Stones”
Offerings for Youth (grades K-6) include:
- “Introduction to Sculpture”
- “The Ultimate Harry Potter Adventure”
- “Painting Fundamentals”
- “Introduction to Graphic Design and Illustration”
CHAW also presents Parent/Child classes including:
- “Color Theory for Preschoolers” (ages 3-5)
- “Jewelry Making” (Ages 7 and up, begins October 3)

Since 1972, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) has provided arts education to thousands of children and adults in the Washington region, especially from the greater Capitol Hill area.
