Derrick’s Paintbrush presents a Valentine’s Day Paint Class

Whether it’s a date with the love of your life, a girls’ night out, or an evening to fly solo, Hill Center guarantees a good time. Come celebrate the love with good music, laughter, and a chilled glass of wine. There is no experience necessary for this class – it’s an experience everyone can enjoy.Hill Center will provide all of the paint supplies to start you off on your artistic journey. Their talented instructor will guide you step-by-step through the process of recreating the featured work. So grab a friend or come alone and have a blast while creating your own masterpiece.

Contemporary Approach to Watercolor for Beginners

Teaching artist Christine Vineyard will teach beginners how to create beautiful artwork out of watercolors. Students will learn how to use several different types of watercolor paints, including tube, liquid and pencils. With those paints, students will create paintings in a unique way with a variety of materials, many of them with everyday household items, not just a paintbrush. This is a class for people with little to no prior experience. All materials provided by the instructor.

Introduction to Video Production with Scott Sowers
Saturday, February 28, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Register online

Do you have hours of video of your kids or great footage from the holidays? Or perhaps you’re looking to produce videos for your business or even your own independent film, this course will provide the basics for pre-production, lighting, shooting and editing. Using basic technology that is easily available to the general public, you will get hands-on experience working with lights, cameras, tripods, and video editing software. At the conclusion of this full day workshop, you will have expanded knowledge of video production and produced a film with graphics, credits, and music that can be uploaded and viewed on YouTube and/or other video sharing platforms.
