Never underestimate the stunning power of the basics. Learn to use a pen, nib, and brush to create distinctive marks, expressive lines, and textured tones. We will discuss the positives & negatives of each various conventional tools available and some not so conventional. Learn about process, techniques and build skills that allow you to experiment to create successful illustrations, comic art, and high contrast styles.

This workshop is free but feel free to bring your favorite ink pens, fine paintbrushes and a tooth brush never to be used to brush your teeth again. Ever.
