Workshop: Saturday, March 21 from 1pm to 3pm

Are you tired of your buttoned-down job? Do you secretly yearn to start a new career and pursue your dream? Afraid of taking out school loans? Then taking a free Professional Amateur Workshop at Arlington Arts Center is exactly what you need.

Professional Artist and Amateur Paul Shortt will lead participants through discussions and playful exercises about how to be a Professional Amateur. You will get to design your own business cards, try on various professional roles and gain the confidence and skills to be competent and qualified in any field.

All materials will be provided. The workshop is free, but space is limited. Each workshop will last approximately 1 hour, but will be held over a 2 hour block of time for set-up and for projects that may run longer.

Workshops will also be held Saturday, April 4, 1-3pm and Saturday, May 2, 1-3pm.
