SCRAP DC Turns Invasives into Art

Inspired by Patterson Clark at alienweeds.com, attendees will transform vegetation from around the neighborhood into materials and tools for art Attendees will cook up a range of workable inks for to use with brushes and paper provides by SCRAP DC. Experiment, too, with sculptural techniques (basket-weaving? how about quilling?) By 3pm, attendees will be sent home with resources on how to make your own paper, brushes and wood blocks to carve.
