Classes begin April 11
WSS offers exceptional, high quality art instruction in an intimate environment. Students work from direct observation, in the studio and outdoors, and study masterworks at Washington area museums. Classes are small (generally 8-12 students) and include demonstration, critique and art history to inform students on how artists have approached an resolved problems. First-time students are encouraged to enroll in beginning drawing classes to provide a strong foundation upon which to build an art practice, as well as to gain an introduction to the school, its faculty and philosophy.
Washington Studio School is located at 2129 S. St. NW. For more information about the classes, visit http://www.washingtonstudioschool.org/register.
