The Arts Business Institute and Artists & Makers Studios are pleased to sponsor a professional development learning event for fine artists, craft artists and others interested in launching or growing a creative business. It takes place in Rockville, MD on August 12-13.

  • Creative Marketing
  • Pricing for Profit
  • Sales Strategies for Artists
  • Making Work that Sells
  • Wholesaling
  • The Corporate Art Market
  • Selling Art Online

Lunch will be provided for attendees on both days of the workshop. On Saturday during the lunch hour, a panel of experts will discuss and take questions about their expertise and advice for artists. On Sunday during the lunch hour, special guest speaker Todd Scalise will speak on the topic of “Creative Placemaking and Opportunities for Artists.”

Artists may also schedule an optional personal consultation during the two-day event, which gives them one-on-one time with our speakers to talk about challenges, planning and potential markets. Appointment times are strictly limited and will sell out before the event.

Tuition for this comprehensive two-day intensive is $295.

Readers of East City Art may take a special discount, and save $50 off the regular tuition by using coupon code EASTCITYART in the shopping cart.
