By Editorial Team on August 18, 2013

The 11th Street Bridge Park recently received a gift of $100,000 to support the nation-wide design competition, economic development analysis and implement a health impact assessment.  Now every dollar donated to realize DC’s first elevated park over the Anacostia River will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000. At the DC Office of Planning, artist Ed Estes has created new renderings of what a future 11th Street Bridge Park could look like. The final Bridge Park designs will look different as the process goes through the nation-wide design competition, but these pictures should spark the imagination in the interim: https://www.thearcdc.org/news/11th-street-bridge-park-receives-matching-gift.
