The new site merges Arlington Artists Alliance’s current website and Gallery Underground’s website into one URL and one brand
Arlington Artists Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, which aims to be more user-friendly for its members and patrons. The site will have the same URL, arlingtonartistsalliance.org, as its previous site and will include all information related to its affiliated gallery, Gallery Underground. The website comes as a response to the challenges arts organizations faced during the pandemic: an urgency to connect more easily with its community within the online space.
With the help of grants from Arlington County and the state of Virginia, Arlington Artists Alliance was able to create a fresh site to better establish its brand and communicate upcoming events and activities with the public.
“The goal was to design a more interactive hub for our members so they may communicate with each other, sign up for artist opportunities, and promote their work all in one place. It will also serve as an online gallery where patrons can support local artists and our organization by easily purchasing artwork online,” explains Christina Papanicolaou, the Alliance’s new Executive Director.
The new site will allow members to access various resources such as the Alliance and Gallery calendars, e-sign ups to exhibit their artwork around Arlington, and a forum to post announcements and spark discussions. Members and non-members alike are encouraged to visit the site to stay apprised of Alliance events, activities, and artists. The website launch will take place on Monday, October 4, 2021. For more information about the new website please contact Christina Papanicolaou at (732) 221-8804 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
