Craig Kraft Studio announces a community art project addressing Missing Persons in DC. Kraft is a neon artist with a 35 year history of creating neon lit studio works and monumental neon sculpture. Acutely aware of neon’s attention grabbing qualities, Kraft thought of creating neonized flyers from the list of missing persons posted with the DC Police Department. He changed the graphics of the original print version of the police flyer with the word “missing” in red neon. These flyers will now resonate in the mind of the viewer.

These works are intended as a call to action.

Kraft is looking for public locations to install these neon missing person flyers. Some of these works will be included in an exhibition titled Emergency Neon. The exhibition opens March 2022 at Honfleur Gallery in Anacostia, Washington DC.
