Peterson Company has notified Craig Kraft that his monumental neon sculpture “Lightweb” will be removed after the first of the year. It is located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland on Ellsworth Ave. Commissioned by Montgomery County and Peterson Co. , the 38′ x 10′ x 10′ rolled aluminum and neon sculpture was created in 2004.

Whoever claims the piece will be responsible for all costs associated with the deinstallation, transport, and re-installation of the sculpture.


“Untitled”, 2006, sited at the Arlington Arts Center for 10 years, was successfully relocated to the Anacostia Arts Center in 2016.
