In an email newsletter dated June 19, 2015, Jamie Smith and Leigh Conner, organizers of the (e)merge art fair, stated that the next edition of the (e)merge art fair will take place in 2016. The organizers cited, in part, the need to find a larger venue to house DC’s largest contemporary art fair. For more information about (e)merge visit their website here.
Note: in a previous version of the brief, the East City Art editorial team stated that the 2015 edition was cancelled when in fact it was never scheduled.
