No Kings Collective Curates Murals in Downtown Silver Spring by Group of Internationally Renowned Artists

DC’s No Kings Collective (Peter Chang and Brandon Hill), have curated a special team of internationally renowned artists to brighten Downtown Silver Spring’s new $10 million revitalization and upgrade.

The new mural project titled Silver Spring Walls features the work the following artists:

  • James Bullough, a Washington, DC expat living in Berlin, strikes a delicate balance between realistic portraiture and stylized distortions, incorporating a model for this project with family ties to Silver Spring, Md.
  • 1010 a Hamburg, Germany native known for his giant wall murals that portray hyper-realistic motifs of cave forms
  • No Kings Collective, duo Peter Chang and Brandon Hill, from DC

The new revitalization of the 440,000-square-foot Maryland complex includes new tenants and a new look including the murals and other public art, a new plaza area and dynamic greenspace.
