Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council Opens new art Gallery and Performance Space Arts’tination at National Harbor

Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) has launched a brand-new gallery and community art space in the heart of the National Harbor’s Waterfront District, offering an exciting array of visual arts, music programming, workshops, and events throughout the summer. Arts’tination is a joint initiative of PGAHC, National Harbor, and Experience Prince George’s. This venture brings together artists and audiences from diverse backgrounds to experience outstanding performances, and workshops. PGAHC supports these extraordinary County artists by showcasing their work to the general public, and creating an inclusive, exciting County Arts’tination (Art Destination) at National Harbor.

The public can visit the gallery Friday through Sunday from 11am-6pm to interact with and see artists creating work. Pieces available for purchase include paintings, 3D art, wearable art, and fashion design. Workshops and talks are scheduled throughout each week and feature PGAHC partner events, such as Lake Arbor Jazz festival, and Dialect of Prince George’s. Free outdoor musical performances are programmed for Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm all summer long. Performers include acclaimed and up-and-coming musicians from the County and DMV music scene. Featured artists include Nasar Abadey, Fedrico Peña, Cheik Hamala Diabaté, and Integriti Reeves.
