Charnice Milton, a Capital Community News reporter who died from gunshot wounds sustained Wednesday May 26, would have been 28 on June 19. Milton wrote avidly about community issues in Wards 6,7 and 8 ranging from development projects and ANC meetings to museum exhibitions and gallery openings.
A vigil is planned to honor her life and work on Wednesday June 3, 2015, at 7:30 p.m at the Washington Seniors Wellness Center located at 3001 Alabama Avenue SE. More information found HERE.
