STABLE celebrates its Grand Opening on Friday, October 18, 2019. STABLE, is a new professional artist space located in the Eckington neighborhood of Washington, DC celebrates its grand opening on Friday, October 18. The 10,000 square foot space includes 21 artist studios, a shared Post Studio space for up to 12 artists, an artist lounge and a 1,100 square foot exhibition space.
STABLE’s mission is strengthening Washington, DC’s contemporary visual arts community by providing affordable and sustainable studio space, and collaborating with local, national, and international partners to provide programming and exhibition opportunities, fostering an engaged, inclusive community in Washington, DC. STABLE works to create opportunities and share resources with artists allowing STABLE artists to expand their networks and build community.
