Tunisian Museum, Home of Roman Mosaics, Attacked by Terrorists

The Bardo museum in Tunisia, a country to emerge from Arab Spring with a functioning democratic government, experienced an attack March 18th that saw no works damaged but at least 19 people killed. With possible connections to the recent destruction of art committed by terrorist groups within the last month,
the Bardo’s extensive and revered collection of mosaics covering over 400 years of Roman culture would be another blow to the art world. Read more here.
