Washington Glass School Hires Audrey Wilson as Glass Studio Coordinator and Instructor

The Washington Glass School and Studio announces its recent hire of Audrey Wilson, who will join the WGS team as the Studio Coordinator. Audrey will be organizing the studio production as well as working with the WGS Resident Artists. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Audrey has a BA in Crafts with a concentration on glass from Kent State University. Audrey has worked at the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio as the studio and teaching assistant, working with the museum’s visiting glass artists. Audrey has worked with renowned glass artists such as Dante Marioni, Christina Bothwell, Janusz Pozniak and John Miller.  Audrey’s own artwork references nature and organic forms, and she specializes in kiln casting, pate de verre and sand casting with mixed media.  “I like working with and cannot help but respond to my surrounding environment – both within my artwork and my career” she said. “I intend to apply my experience and skills to teaching and developing classes that will help the Washington Glass School artists get to their next level.”
