Join the 39th Street Gallery with artist Leslie Holt in conversation with Andrea Pollan, Owner of Curator’s Office, about Leslie’s current exhibition, Unspeakable.
In the Unspeakable series, Holt embroiders meticulous line drawings of figures sourced from Pablo Picasso´s Guernica and its preparatory sketches. She stitches the figures on open fields of raw canvas and combines them with large saturated stains of acrylic paint.
