Coffee and Conversation: Saturday, July 14 at 11am
Addison/Ripley Fine Art invites you to join us for the next in their continuing series of Saturday morning artist’s talks. Addison/Ripley is very pleased to host a conversation between exhibiting artist, professional photographer and sometime yoga teacher, E. Brady Robinson and gallery owner, Christopher Addison. This exhibition,It’s Complicated, is a visual odyssey, revealing sometimes intimate flashes of the artist’s life as a single, recently divorced woman. At various times humorous, mildly erotic and eclectic, this exhibition represents a bold next step for the artist. The conversation on Saturday will attempt to un-complicate the process behind the curation of this show and address the rather unorthodox manner in which the show is presented.
Robinson’s second exhibition at Addison/Ripley is her most ambitious to date as well as her most personal and revealing. The exhibition continues through July 21st.
The program begins with coffee and bagels at 11 on Saturday, July 14, in the Addison/Ripley Gallery space at 1670 Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. Seating will be first come, first served. Questions are welcome.
