Local Artists Inspire Neighbors to Honor Earth Day with Creativity

Alethia Tanner Park in Eckington will host their 2nd annual artist talk for FOUND on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The exhibit features found-object sculptures made by Eckington neighbors from discarded items. Sculptures will be displayed to the public, free of charge, from 10:30am to 2:00pm with the talk at Noon on April 27.

FOUND was funded by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Public Art Building Communities Grant Program.

Alethia Tanner Park, 227 Harry Thomas Way, NE, is situated along the Metropolitan Branch Trail in northeast DC and is accessible by bike, car, or Metro, between the NOMA and Rhode Island Avenue Red Line Metro stops.
