Twelve Years Tours to Treasure
Families can sign up for a docent-led tour of the exhibition Twelve Years that Shook and Shaped Washington: 1963 – 1975. Kids then go on a self-guided treasure hunt with an exhibition family guide to test their knowledge.  Kids receive a free gift after completing their treasure hunt. Artist Talk with Susana Raab
Award-winning photographer Susana Raab shows examples of her fine art photography to explain her artistic process and how it informs the work she does for the museum in documenting communities and neighborhoods east-of-the-river. Raab has exhibited regionally and nationally, and is president of Women Photojournalists of Washington. Twitter: #DCArtist

Artist Studio Tour to DC
Ride the museum shuttle and visit local artists in their homes and studios. Artists include Alonzo Davis (mixed media) and Alec Simpson (painter). $10 transportation fee. Twitter: #ArtistTour

East of the River Exhibition Artist Panel
Meet and listen to local artists who are part of this annual exhibition. The artists will talk about their work and inspirations as well as present slide shows of current work and projects. Program takes place at the Honfleur Gallery in Anacostia where the EoR exhibition is currently on view. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the gallery is highlighting 10 of its most prominent community artists over the past 10 years. Join us for this special program.
